Re: The end of TAI and the FUTURE

When I woke up today, I could just feel it was going to be a miserable day. I got to work and all this bad shit happened, then I learned that TAI broke up and that was pretty much the last straw. I don't honestly know how to feel about the band breaking up. You guys have been with me for so long, you've gotten me through so many hard times with your music and TAI TV and everything that you were as a band. I don't feel like I'll ever fully recover from this because TAI is, and probably always will be my favorite band.

I know this is probably for the best for you guys, I know I probably should have seen it coming, we all probably should have but it's something you just don't want to admit when you love a band that much. Your music was a soundtrack to my teen years, it was there during my happiest highs and my lowest lows. I know that probably sounds cliche, but if it does, I don't want to be anything else.

I'm happy that I was fortunate enough to experience The Academy Is... as many times as I have -- six times. I know not everyone got that privilege to even see you once and I realize that not everyone was fortunate enough to meet you guys either. I will never take any of this for granted, you are my heroes, I'm pretty sure you always will be. I'm forever grateful that I got to have those experiences over the years, that I got to meet you guys, and that I even got to experience your music, I honestly don't know what my teen years would've been like without TAI. I can't imagine them.

The Academy Is... will forever hold the most special place in my heart. I'll never forget the things you've done for me, even if you don't know you did them. I wish you all nothing but luck in your endeavors. ♥

One of my favorites. Flannigan's accent always somewhat reminded me of Borat for some reason. Lol.

Anyway, I just have a random question, I've been wondering this... Is there any hope for a tour this year? I know you guys are working hard on the record so either way, no complaints..

I only ask this because I've seen you at least once a year since 2007 and I'm suffering TAI withdrawal already. Haha.

Well, I may be a bit biased seeing as there happens to be a cat on my lap at the moment.. I still have to say kitties because they're cuddly and not hyper and you have to work for their affection.. Plus my kitty is my baby, and I don't know what I'd do without her. ^_^

Tegan & Sara! They're definitely in my top three (behind TAI and the Beatles, of course)
Hell is an amazing song but I think Alligator would have to be my favorite from Sainthood, that or Red Belt.. Or Nightwatch. They just have amazing songs it's hard to choose just one!

Those are definitely the best SNL digital shorts ever. You should watch them if you haven't already seen them.

This is definitely one of the greatest songs ever, the first time I heard it, I couldn't get enough of it. It's so unique and different you can't help but listen to it on repeat a few dozen times. I haven't listened to Immi in a long time but now I have the urge to. :D

I love them almost as much as I love your band.
