With most charter schools, a dedicated board governs just one school.  Alas, even the Charters are starting to morph as a quasi "District" school system with a remote board of directors governing multiple schools.  This never was the intent of Charters. Does no one in the Democratic party read history?  The President even used Japan's failed effort in the "lost decade" as an example of what not to do and claims that this bill is not the same and we will not make the same mistakes...in my mind ours is worse and we have already made a big mistake.&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">wwharris</dc:creator><pubDate>Tue, 17 Feb 2009 22:35:44 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
