I don't know what it is about Halloween and panic but the boys seem to really look forward to this night/run and the fans have come to expect the unexpected. For me the Halloween Runs that stand out the most in my mind are the UNO runs in New Orleans. 98,99,00,01 are some of the greatest panic runs I ever had the pleasure of seeing. Perhaps its the venue..Perhaps its the City..Perhaps its the band or what the night represents...Personally I think its a combination of it all. The energy the UNO Lakefront Arena produces when Widespread Panic takes the stage is truly one of those magical experiences that one can only sample when standing in that heat box and feeling the energy pulse through your body. And no better example of that exists then the 10.27.01 Bowlegged Women. The stars aligned, the drinks where flowing, the band was smiling, and all was perfect in the world for about 10 minutes....
