BTW it's not the number of search results that you should SEO for. It's the monthly search volume. You can get that info from Google Keyword Tool if you have an AdWords account.

Re: Outlook: Delete Autocomplete Email Addresses

Agreed. It's hard to strike a balance between SEO for bots and TAO (target audience optimization) for humans. I lean toward the humans. Let the 20,000 Googlers figure out how to make their bot speak human. :-)

Re: Outlook: Delete Autocomplete Email Addresses

You're welcome! And superstitious means "an unreasonable or excessive belief in fear or magic" which has no place in Buddhism. And I doubt the Buddha would recommend possession of any mobile phone, least of all a luxury golden one. :-)

Re: Get On the Right Side of the Fence

Chirs, I have a concern.

The BlendTec figure of 500% increase in online sales sounds impressive 'till you consider these points:

1) What was the base? Maybe they were doing close to zero online before the "Will it Blend series?
2) (Even more disturbing) 100 million views drove only a 500% increase. Realistically, mere mortals like us might get a thousand or (if we're really good) ten thousand views. Pro rate that into 500% and you get a miniscule 0.05% bump (500% *10,000 / 100,000,000 = 0.05%).

Thoughts?

Re: Agilent Technologies to Feature Latest Innovations in Signal Integrity Design, RFIC Verification at 2008 Design Automation Conference

It is going to be a great conference despite Cadence's bizarre decision to stay away from their own industry's premier event.
