i am so lame... i like the white because it matches my white MacBook, iPhone (3G with the white back) and my DS (white, of course). If I get a 4th device, it must be just as sterile. ;-p

#1 .. I love that you use TweetDeck .. it is one of my new favorite apps.
#2 .. I love youre NC10, and would like to get one in white... and now that I know you can turn it into a Hackintosh, I think that is the next thing on my shopping list. :)

I saw a screen shot of Win7 and it just looked junky and cluttered. Now, I am not being Mac-biased because I used to be a total MS fan boy ... but Win7 just isn't grabbing me back, now that I have switched to Mac. This post of yours is really interesting.

i am hearing the same from a lot of friends. i have an open mind... we'll see. if Apple does not come out with a netbook, my next purchase just may be a windows machine.

interesting. Gmail's IMAP settings drive me nuts... I use various devices/applications to check my Gmail via IMAP and each one creates different Draft/Sent/Trash filters/labels. I have tried to make everything I use refer to the same labels with no avail. ug.

its all about $$$... who has more, and who can yell louder and sue longer. in the end, the end consumer always suffers. i do love my iPhone, but a little healthy competition (um, a device with cut and paste, the ability to record simple video, or send MMS) is always good for innovation.

perhaps you should use two accounts... @petecashmore for the chatter, and @mashable for the news. either way, mashable is an awesome site for social media/networking news, and i love what you offer... it is awesome to be able to follow your stories thru twttr. keep up the great work.

Twitter is more than just "status updates". It is an online community of folks that blog short messages with each other, sharing their lives. Facebook opening up their status updates will not impace Twitter because each service attracts a different kind of user.

I was wondering what you used to capture your video because the quality is awesome. I also just recently bought a Flip MinoHD and love it.

Your thoughts here are interesting. I wonder if someone that uses their machine exclusively for web/email would be happy using this for their primary system.

yah, TweetDeck rules... especially since they now integrated Facebook, and the new Digg URL shortener. I can now use one interface for all my important stuff.
