What's going on in the ballroom world?
They are definitely one of my favorites couples since Blackpool 2006? (When they went into the top six for the first time) I still remember the happiness and joy on both of them that night.
Well, Mirko has paired up with a new person, Edita Daniute (Aruna's old partner).
I bet the next Blackpool will be very interesting.

As an avid spectator of strict latin and ballroom (and that's why I love your blog so much) , I thought this episode was going to be a fluff. I don't like the dances but I thought the show was quite entertaining!

By the way, in Strictly Come Dancing, the British version of DWTS which has strict ballroom and no tricks, Martina Hingis was the first one to go home. I think its because everyone thinks she's a ringer (paired with Matthew Cutler) and no one voted!

Sadly, Martina and Matthew were the first couple to be voted off the show. I think that her waltz was quite good but she lacks posture and a strong core. The judges on SCD are way more stricter than DWTS (Len and Bruna has to change mode) but her scores were moderate.
I think that not enough people vote for her because Martina and Matthew are suppose to be the runner up as the most well known star on SCD.

From infodanza.it, Mirko has retired but Alessia will be dancing with Angelo di Mondo who is currently dancing with Edita Daniute (Arunas' old partner).

I am sooo looking forward to this couple!
As a fan of Dancing with the Stars and Strictly Come Dancing, I can't wait for both of them to begin. I went to Blackpool this year and met Matthew Cutler and he was incredibly hot! He was also the judge in this year's Blackpool Amateur Ballroom comps (alongside Karen Hardy, another pro dancer in Strictly Come Dancing -- I guess the Blackpool organizers are trying to commercialize the event?).
I hope Martina are one of atheletes that can dance because she definitely has the potential to be the winner.
