I’m a simple southern boy (born in Alabama, raised in Arkansas and Louisiana) who probably will never go back (even though my brother and sister are still there). I now live in Northern California and I love it. I’m not sure where I will end up since it’s impossible for real folks to invest in property here. Hopefully, I’ll retire to somewhere that has nice weather, open minded people and national health care. Oh, and a great knitting community. I love to knit but was taught to crochet by my Grandmother when I was but a slip of a lad. She also taught me to knit but wasn’t too thrilled about it. My good friend, Michael Moreno, taught me again (many, many years later) and I bought “Stitch and Bitch” which started the real fire.
