Thanks folks. PrivacyCDN, I appreciate your comments. I have looked at the EMR in Hamilton. It may be excellent using the criteria you deem vital, but the user interface is not in the least elegant nor modern. Compare it to contemporary medical apps for smartphones and tablets. No comparison.

Nick, when did you order your watch? I have the same question. It would be weird that someone could walk into a store and snag a watch after we've been waiting for weeks.

I was very lucky to have a good Twitter friend at the companies' PR firm. It was also good timing as they really wanted to show off the multimedia capabilities of the phones in Canada. As an extra bonus, today I learned that all the students get to keep the phones.
