No left-handed mode. They still expect us left-handed users to be able to use an Apple Pencil and edit an image while our left hand covers the image we are editing 😤

The two overlapping squares to form a logo is one of the easiest and the most obvious execution you can do for an S logo. When designing a logo, it's one of those throwaway, you just need to create one just to appease or find another angle or an idea to create a symbol of an S icon. I believe, Apple chose this design because it fits the overall look of the brand identity of iOS 12 (orthographic, blurred squircle, the color combination).

I've used Transmit for about two weeks working on a project. Paid the full price.I haven't used Transmit again after that. Now, if Panic will allow me to pay just less than $5 to use it for one month then I'm game.

I did it with Adobe Premiere Pro too, Used it for a week, paid $20 for one month instead of paying for an annual sub. Save me a lot of money.

I'm still on a waiting list for an iPhone X 256GB that I ordered with my telco last November 29 last year. So I don't get the "there's no demand for a X". The phone as I was told get sent on batches and they couldn't keep up with the order.

I have it, I put an Apple leather case when needed like when I'm in crowded places like concert where the likelihood of dropping it is high. So far, no deep scratches but it has micro-abrasions mostly on the edge. I still love it and never regretted once getting it. I expect it to looks as nice as my iPod classic scratched aluminum back.

I'm one of those people who subscribed and stopped pirating Adobe because I can finally afford it. 3rd world here. Subscription is good for us because we can sign to monthly or annual sub, it lowers the barrier for us to be able to afford it. Not to mention regional pricing in which they lower the cost to what other countries can actually afford. It does not have to do anything not knowing about math.

I actually want the same thing. Rent to own. I've been doing it with Fontstand which allow me to rent a font for a month. If I keep paying for it in a 12 month period, that font is mine. Font is expensive if you buy if on its own, but being able to rent to own it allowed me to not pirate fonts anymore.

If there's anything good a subscription did for us outside the US (3rd world) is that it allowed us to be able to afford those software such as Adobe. $300-$400 for an app is literally too high for us but lowering the barrier allowed us to able to legally owned such software. It's not perfect but it definitely help us especially with regional pricing too (we get a much lower price than US/UK).

I grew up having nightmares where I am laying down on the center of a medieval town while hundreds of boulders are rolling around me when I was a kid. It persisted for a few years and I chose not to sleep whenever I have those nightmares. Fast forward to 20 years, a friend let me borrow his DVD copy of Jim Henson's Labyrinth. Lo and behold, the nightmare came from that movie. I had goosebumps when I saw that particular scene in the film.

The deal was even extended for another two weeks. Making the sale price of $19.99 (here it's PhP999) for a month until June 30. It was all over Apple news sites and blogs. It was even promoted along with the new iPad. I got two emails regarding it and I'm not even American or in America.

Been a big fan of Affinity Designer since version 1. I've been an Adobe Illustrator user for more than a decade. I tried going back to Illustrator (our work has a subscription) but I now prefer AD more and more. It's fast, easy to use and the workflow is better (for me) than Illustrator did for me. Happy to hear that AD is coming to iPad too. Can't wait to work on AD whenever I go.

I used Sleep++ back then but switched to Autosleep when it launched. I charge my watch when I'm changing clothes for bed, brushing my teeth and letting it charge for at least 30mins. In the morning I charge it while I shower. I never had any problem with battery and still able to use my watch most of the time.

Since my primary camera has been my iPhone 7 Plus, I've used Lr mobile for editing RAW photos. I've never used the desktop version since.

I use AutoSleep. It automatically detects when you're sleeping. No need to toggle on/off. It shows you your sleep quality and heart-rate.

I'm using iTunes Match which btw copies your local library to iCloud. That means I can just delete my library and then re-download everything from iTunes Match. That is its function.

Also, I'm from the Philippines. Ordering from Amazon will take me 2 months (our custom is slow) and will probably pay twice as much for shipping and will pay another 60% just for tax that includes shipping. That $10 will cost me around $40 and wait for 2-3 months just to rip a few CDs lost.

I talked to an iTunes Specialist and was told that he had the same problem when AM was just starting and they were not able to sort out the problem. AM now matches the same feature as iTunes Match but it won't upload any of your own ripped tracks or music that is not available on AM. Back then it does not. iTunes still doesn't have a way to control which feature will use when downloading an available song in your library. AM and iMatch will have conflicts all the time. I still use iTunes Match because I have so many songs that is not available on AM (Japanese soundtracks, OOP albums, Tool, some music from my country, etc.) and I want to be able to stream them on all my devices.

I've subscribed to Bear Notes to migrate all my Simplenotes + NValt notes. I checked if it can replaced Evernote for me, but PDF shows as inline. I need something that works like a notebook where I can store different documents.

My iTunes Match is up for renewal in a few weeks and it makes me re-think about renewing it. It has made a total mess of my library ever since they introduced AM. My purchased songs plays a different song, some are lost that I needed to find an Mac with an optical drive to re-rip tracks that are lost. AM recommeding me playlist with songs already in my library but needed to re-sync again. Been contacting Apple Support numerous times, but they couldn't figure out what's wrong with my library. I've had rebuild numerous times by turning off/on iCloud Music library and I also tried deleting my entire library and re-downlading everything again thru iTunes Match. But my library is still a mess two years and counting.

I use quicktime because it is fast to trim and edit videos. I don't even need to create a new project on iMovie or Premiere Pro to do it.

if I can adjust my brush size with my other hand without looking at the screen where I need to adjust it, that is super useful. Been wanting to get a Griffin Powermate just to do that.

I even cleaned my original Apple Watch by running water on it from a faucet especially when the digital crown gets sticky (probably from sweat, dust, etc.) Never had a problem using my Watch on a pool or when swimming at the beach. I've submerged it a few times but I'm not a swimmer so haven't stress-tested it on water.

I used my Apple Watch on the pool, by the beach and sometimes when I shower. I'm also torn if I really need the GPS and improved water-proofing. But definitely going to upgrade.
