I know the song is supposed to be post breakup, but the MV's interpretation is definitely a lot stronger, and speaks about the issue of racism and the concept of beauty in many countries, particularly in the asian culture.

Re: Singapore Day 5 – Social Star Awards and Stuff

you guys still looked fab despite not having packed clothes for the star awards! p.s. Simon, my friends couldn't take their eyes off your nasty behind, your sexy suspenders hooked their attention for a good 5 minutes. Talk about being Nasty through and through >.<

Re: Fei wins with an emotional performance for her mother on ‘Dancing With The Stars 3′

The song is actually translated as "The Moon Represents My Heart", sung by Teresa Teng. No idea how the writer got the literally and grammatically wrong “The Moonlight Is Instead of My Heart“.

Re: WE ARE GOING TO SINGAPORE! AHHH!

Just thought I'ld add on to your list, with Simon loving Japanese ramen and all, Singapore has loads of ramen places!! Listed a few below which have different kinds of ramen (noodles & base)

1. Keisuke Tonkotsu King at Orchid Hotel. The soup here will blow your mind with its deliciousness. (http://danielfooddiary.com/... *best thing - $2 noodle top up + Endless supply of Hard-boiled eggs

2. Ramen Santouka at Central (http://www.ladyironchef.com... Their pork cheeks positively melt on your tongue

3.Marutama Ramen at Central, or Liang Court (http://danielfooddiary.com/... Their seasoned eggs and char siu are one of the best i've taken.

4.Ippudo at Mandarin Gallery (http://www.ladyironchef.com... Definitely one of the go-to restaurants for ramen.

5. Ramen Champion at Bugis+ or Changi Airport Terminal 3. (http://www.ramenchampion.co... You can try ramen from six different japanese chains, all o which cater to different tastes. *personal favourite is Hakata Ikkousha, though it really depends on how porky/salty you like your soup bases.

Re: Gong Cha Bubble Tea

I LOVE GONGCHA. It's the only brand of bubble tea that I find palatable, move over koi & all other brands! You might want to try Earl Grey Milk Tea with sugar level at 30%! It is one of the few combinations that doesn't get overwhelmingly sweet when you have it with pearls. Having it with Herbal Jelly is a great alternative, because the earl grey milk tea masks that herb-y tastes and it isn't dripping with syrup unlike the pearls!

Re: Sexism in Korea

There actually are gender specific words in mandarin, they pronounced the same way but written differently for gender (他 and 她）, as well as someone you respect or an elder （您）. This may not be exactly relevant to sexism, but my non-asian friends have actually commented to me that women brought up in Asia have a tendency to walk about one or half a step behind a male, even if they are in a conversation (i.e. a male and female may walk side by side, but the female is somehow positioned about one or half a step behind.) Not sure if this is the case in most places, but I have observed in quite a few interactions on the streets here in Asia.

Re: Pre-WANK Livechat!

oh my word, mee goreng and MILO, some of the guilty pleasures when one lives in Southeast Asia! Mee Goreng's dry yellow noodles that are stir fried with chilli, spices, prawn, chicken and pretty much whatever's in your fridge (sans desserts). and MILO, it's like hot chocolate, but with a full scope of AWESOME thrown in. A spoonful of MILO powder atop iced MILO means that you'll be left jumping from a sugar high for the next half an hour :)

Re: FEELDOG, Jun Hyung, and LE – You Got Some Nerve

Only know that LE's from EXID, no idea about the rest. Sidenote: Not sure if Koreans have the same customs as the Chinese, but we try not to stick our chopsticks in the bowl, as they resemble food offered to the dead. Chopsticks are typically laid beside the bowl or across the dish.

Re: MFBTY – Sweet Dream

One of the best collaborations I've heard since I started listening to korean music.
