I've never commented on here before but I have to now. The Dissolve was the closest thing to a perfect film site. I read it from day one and loved it the whole damn time. I'll miss it so much. Good luck guys.

I really felt like Lord and Miller were going somewhere with all the sexuality stuff (Tatum's character taking a Human Sexuality class seemed like more than just a gag), so all the jokes were fine by me as I felt they were building to something greater. I was kind of thrown once I realised what I had been holding out for wasn't going to happen; I think I need to come back to this one down the line and figure out what was really going on there.

I think the reason Tarantino listed Star Trek as the best film of 2009 is because Star Trek was the best film of 2009.

Well obviously they're up there, but The Flaming Lips are on top and I think you can see why. You're missing the point. I'm not saying they're the best band in the world, and I'm not saying they're my favourite band, I'm just saying they're the number one band I want to see before I die. And now I have, nothing else matters.
