I have an iPhone 3G and I think I'll wait for exactly what you're waiting for. The issue is the network and AT&T's has become totally dysfunctional. I'm no fan of Verizon but that's how bad things have become.

I would ditch AT&T in a heartbeat. Their network service has been horrible, beyond belief. I'm this close to even giving up my iPhone to get away from this carrier. Apple has to also take their share of the blame for the anti-competitive, anti-consumer exclusivity deal they struck with AT&T.

'Constructive engagement' has failed; the Chinese government continues to ratchet up censorship despite the efforts of companies like Google, Microsoft and Yahoo to maintain a dialogue with them. Sadly, only the threat of Green Dam to their primary businesses, search in Google's case, has finally got these guys to show some balls and directly confront the government.

Lastly, I believe the Chinese Communist Party is being forced to increase censorship because of increasing internal dissension not because the people demand it.

Amen to your last thought. This all goes to show that the policy of 'constructive engagement' as practiced by the likes of Google, Microsoft and Yahoo is a failure and should be dropped. The question you pose can be re-framed as 'Will Google have the cahunas to stop being such a whore?" (Please forgive the mixed metaphor.)

I'm certainly willing to keep an open mind but the health insurance companies have an uphill battle to improve their public image which is at an all time low. The Industry as a whole is seen as an obstacle to true healthcare reform. Perhaps you guys can change that.
