This article still doesn't answer my problem. My problem is: when the brake pedal is depressed while not moving, the steering will not turn more than a 1/4 turn in either direction. Is this normal ?. also sometimes I have to hold the steering wheel on center while going straight ahead. It want's to pull off center. Any help on the first question would be appreciated. This a 2004 Ford F250 4x4 diesel.

Hi MIke. I apologize for the personal attack. I'm just a little sensitive to the issue as that business was 42 years of my life. My desire as young man was to be a mechanic or technician for a chevrolet dealership. That original dealership gave me that opportunity, and for that I am grateful. I understand, and you are entitled to your opinion as well as I. I guess we will just wait for the tribes to buy the rest of that property and clutter it with smoke shacks and casinos. Mr. Charles: It would be interesting to know what you would do if you owned that property? Sounds to me like your more jealous of their success and their bank account than anything else, or maybe your just angry over some car deal you made a bad decision on. It would be interesting to know what you have contributed to the community ?.

As a former Arlington resident and employee of Dwayne Lane Cheverolet, I think it is a sad day and a great loss not only for Arlington, but for all customers and employees involved. I started working for the dealership in 1968, when it was on main street and it provided a living for my family and me for 42 years. We moved to west ave. when John Henken purchased it in 1974. I worked there for John and Al Henken untill 1994 when Dwayne Lane purchased it. I then worked for Dwayne Lane untill I retired in 2007. The Lane's were great people to work for and were an asset to the community. Between Dwayne Lane & John Henken, they spent over 25 years and thousands & thousands of dollars trying to get Island Crossing zoned. As for Mr Charles, I hope he has a better plan to replace one of Arlington's largest tax contributors and to help those who lost their jobs. It's sad day to see another small business close it's doors.
