Oh, God. This has been my go to article for when people ask me why I dislike the language. Obviously, every language has its shortcomings, but, after 10 years of PHP, it's left a seriously bad taste in my mouth.

Wow, you weren't joking. This is one of the most thorough and well-thought-out JavaScript articles I've read in a long time. For front-end JavaScript, I use AngularJS 100% of time, but I found this article incredibly easy to digest. Good work!

Hey, mate! I can't recall the actual steps used to replicate the issue, but I'm more than happy to give you a step-by-step description of what's going on when I have some free time later on tonight.

It seems a bit sporadic at times, but it tends to occur after building up a VM using 'vagrant up' command. It begins the normal boot process, hangs for a few minutes, then throws me an 'SSH' error, similar to error #410 in the Github issue tracker (https://github.com/mitchell..., and halts the process. When I enter 'vagrant status', it tells me the VM is currently not active. However, if I check the VirtualBox GUI, it's clearly there, up and running. I can't manually halt vai the GUI, so I had to figure out how to do via the command line.

However, and this is the odd bit, if I modify the VagrantFile to boot the VM in GUI mode, I can log into the VM, restart the networking daemon, THEN type 'vagrant ssh' and all is well.

Despite these issues, it's a great tool and I can definitely see myself using for more than just development stuff.

Then again, I don't see why I couldn't detect support for those events first and then use the `setInterval` solution as a fallback.

Yessir, I have taken a gander at those specific events. Though, I was looking for a solution that would work in most IE browsers as well. Haven't tested in Opera, but it looks like those reflow events aren't fully supported there either.

Either way, it was definitely a fun experiment.

Alright, bought the app. Hell, it's only $10. Looking great so far and has heaps of features. My only wish is that I could associate notes from this app with EverNote and Things; tall order.
