Generally, the "Last Word" addiction "looks like a "wounded ego" to get back at a detractor- it actually waters down the original statement you made. "F'" The last word. Your original statement will be stronger!!!!
As for criticizing someone's comment (immaturity as an elevated expression) why not relate your own position away from the original statement. Oh my - where is Beanie? Al he wanted to do is to be provocative so that he could generate controversy and get some people to look at his site.

peachin

Re: Sputter to a Stop

I agree about RIMM! Goldman is currently at it's 200EMA and below it's 200SMA - whichever you use. "....considering what a superstar this used to be" - Before I go on, I am speaking of GS which has not only been the topic of this site (puts) but is also one of the charts on this day. Full Disclosure: I have a position in Goldman which I have established last week. Prior to this week, I have been spinning GS in and out long and short on an average of 4 to 6 trades a day. I have a position in HTC yielding 17.5% paid monthly - an oil, refining and gas play and long-term options on Palm (I know I'm the fool!) These positions represent 50% of my holdings the remainder is cash in and out daily.

Contrary to the contrary - the earning of Goldman, RIMM, ORCL, MSFT and what is to come in our IT leaders
There may be a two pronged change in the markets - the strong get stronger and the weak get weaker - and
there is no question that the Russell 2000 is one of the weaker. Monday will be a "Tell Day" and the first two weeks of January will be an enormous Tell period.

Tomorrow - OED - is a good day to go out and play

Happy Holidays, Christmas and whatever you feel like celebrating..

La Grande Poussee (peachin)

Re: Riders on the Storm

not HTC - HTE - Harvest Energy Trust

Re: Does the VIX Trend?

The sign of a good trader - is to go either way - by the way the charts work both ways and the tape reinforces
the direction. Deflation is the tail end of a cycle of Stagflation. It certainly is not happening - at this time. "Trust Me" even coming from the most honorable of intentions - hurried architects could not keep Humpty Dumpty from falling. There are too many variables, too many derivatives, too many intra country economies reacting to different stimuli at before or after the curve - for anyone to keep what is happening at bay...What is happening is better than any movie or television show because the end is constantly being rewritten - every minute that the next minute will reverse!
What's coming is very exciting! Think of the different ways you can prepare yourself, and then think of the different ways that you can be crippled - Agility Rules!

Re: Welcome Back

RIMM (the stock) is now asking itself how it got back to 120 after being at 98 just a week or two ago. Palm is the people and the programs available - I did well on Palm -moving out of the stock (and into calls) at the $9 distribution - my long-term calls (Jan 09) took a hit over the past month but they are cheap - Palm will not fail - may be taken over - too much product base - and would you believe it - good user base - With new management - that's the investment - although shorts in the current market could well pay off.

Re: Welcome Back

If you look at the IWM on a daily chart back to November 1st til today - why does it look like an inverted H & S with a 200 day as the neckline - must be my imagination - TIM tell me why I'm not looking at it right - I seem to see fantasy where none exists. Well, so, maybe that is why Tim is asking about Jan 1st - his "What are you going to do" question. Lots of people just don't have the heart to take their gains before the year is over - I'm sure a week from today, Jan 2nd is going to be an interesting day. PS.
