I'm pretty sure it's been at least three years since Michael Bradley had a good game for the US, I think his status as a regular with the team needs to be questioned as well.

Good article, I'm not too worried about Donaldson's production dropping. With Donaldson's line drive swing I'm not worried about his high BABIP. Miguel Cabrera has a similar swing and that doesn't seem to indicate any regression though it is a good point you brought up.

See I think the tifo is being taken out of context. It wasnt meant to be sexist it was just having fun with a guy who always in the news. Honestly it was the equivalent of boys banter and nothing more nothing less. Boys banter can easily be taken out of context and screwed around so I disagree with the meaning of the tifo most people are taking.

Ok, what is going on with you guys? I hate him. And I dont hate all Mexicans players I enjoy Carlos Vela and Cuauahtemoc Blanco at the end of his career. And Jason Chicharito doesn't deserve to be anywhere near the legendary Tim Brown. That's another matter though as I find Chicharito not an overrated player who has no work rate but gets the ball in the right place. I find Hernandez no different from Jared Borgetti in terms of hatred the only difference is that maybe Javier is a bit nicer but that doesnt change anything. I want to see Gooch belt him in the knee but that's just me.

One thing Jason, I actually live in the Bay Area and you can add one more player to the list of MLS academies for the USA. The Goalkeeper Mcintosh plays for Mustang Academy which just recently got its name changed to San Jose Earthquakes Academy. US Soccer made a mistake. I just wanted to point that out.

I gotta say this... Jason, who cares if the Brits are calling us Poseurs. I'm sorry Britain colonized half the damn world and if we all start becoming a latin fan base that goes OLE OLE... well its about time Lew Wolf did something for my teams (A's and Quakes) I've been annoyed with him but finally there is some progress. I know this area and a new stadium will bring fans as long as they market it. I will miss Buck Shaw Stadium's intimacy but that's okay I'm willing to say goodbye to it for a new facility.

Only beef I have is that Dolo and Boca got called up. I think snubbing both those guys would've sent a message to everyone in USMNT Pool that this a new cycle. Overall a good lineup though. I'm still not convinced Bradley will change his formation as he is in love with the 4-4-2 and he can easily pull it off with Deuce and Jozy up top. I would love to see a 4-2-3-1.

As a Quakes fan this is the greatest news everrrrrrrr. If you've watched our team we have zero creativity in the midfield. We can't score, it's just a shame that this guy didnt arrive 3 or 4 weeks ago. I hope Geovanni can get out there and give us the devil in our attack. And if we don't I will egg Lew Wolff's house. John Doyle is cool though.

Totally agree with you about the 4-4-2 when the people who invented it (the English) are about ready to outlaw there in itself is a reason to get rid of it. In international football you can't get outnumbered in the center of the park as seen last night. Attacking formations just tear it apart. And it doesnt allow any creativity what so ever. Case closed time for a 4-5-1 or a 4-3-3 or even a 4-2-3-1

My reasoning is different on why Bob should be replaced. It's time for a new system, and formation in US Soccer. You will get that if you hire Klinsmann, I am sick and tired of the same old zero creativity 4-4-2. We saw what happened last night when an attacking formation when up against a conservative 4-4-2 we were cut to pieces because of the gaps in a 4-4-2 and the fact that we were outnumbered in the central midfield. You may argue that we don't have the creativity however we do look at Paco Torres and Feilhaber. We noticed how a 4-4-2 kills the creativity of those kind of players with a 4-5-1 you aren't outnumbered as well as players like Feilhaber and Torres can dominate. With our young players becoming very creative now is the time for a system change. And we need to commit to that system
