To omgoswin: This "not trans* enough" bullshit has got to stop. You made an assumption about the poster's identity and then proceeded to co-opt a paternalistic voice to admonish them and then deny that they have legitimate feelings on their identity related to what they saw in Moffat's script. Where do you get off on telling another trans* person how they can and cannot express themselves?

To the blogger: I'd be happy to see you repost the parts you deleted.

Are you considering changing your site's system at all? It's usually the case that increased usage is a mandate for improvements and the fickle viewers of blogs can be turned away simply because you use a different commenting system.

I see your points about the DISQUS folks being everything a growing web service needs to be but when your faced with competitors who have access to a community like WordPress's you need more than just doing a single job well to combat such huge brute numbers.

ID has said it will remain open and cross-platform in practically all it's releases on the topic.

The major benefit for them is direct access to askismet, gravatar and exposure to the entire wordpress community.
