We were debating getting the family plan with lastpass now that our kids are using passwords but I don't like how this went so we jumped ship to 1password they may cost a little more but the platform is smoother then lastpass and I'm just annoyed with how lastpass went about this change.

We switched to YTTV right after it was announced Vue was shutting down. Overall I like it. The only issue we have at times is some timing out when watching DVR but I am not sure if its YTTV or the Fire Cube we are using. I do miss the DIY network and wouldn't mind the hallmark channel which they don't have either but if I really wanted those I could go elsewhere. But I do feel it's a good replacement for Vue.

So no one has kids? Which Disney + is somewhat leaning towards. Maybe if he took all his hot air and put it into making his ondemand service and products worth subscribing too he would not be so worried about number of streams....

Still not cheap enough in my option. I just got the note 10+ for 400 dollars off. Better specs more storage. I came from the pixel 2xl and loved it. I was very excited for the 4xl but standing in Best Buy looking at the two phone I just could not justify paying more a month for less specs. I love stock android and there are things I miss from my pixel but I am happy so far with my pick.

Been a Vue customer for over a year and have liked it a lot but thankfully there are other choices so we are going with YouTube TV now which is 5 dollars cheaper and has everything we want at this point and now works on Fire TV's. I think Sony could have make Vue a success if they had really cared too. They could have just called it Sony Vue and done some advertising but it's water under the bridge at this point.

Most households are two or less?? I have two kids so if we happened to be watching the same service on different devices it would be 4 streams. So what's next O sorry you need two subscriptions if your family is too big?

Good thing I also have Plex and an OTA antenna. Can record and fast forward FOX and NBC all I want with those.. It's one thing to not allow fast forwarding but to take away the DVR option all together??

Yes when it's working well and maintained well. I don't disagree. I just know my parents have more issues than they should. Also since some cable companies now charge fees to have multiple boxes people then use the internet streaming service they offer which for my parents does not always work well. Their choice I know but relative to it being the cheaper option it's another bite out of the argument.

The other thing they don't get at this point is it's not all about being cheaper anymore. I can get better quality and performance from my streaming service than my parents get with there cable tv service. I can also cancel any of them I want at any time and restart them at any time. Plus as you said there are shows you can't get on traditional TV and its good programing!

I have had PS Vue now for 2 years and I love it. I started out with Sling then Hulu live and then Vue. I also gave Youtube TV a test run a few months back but in the end I love Vue. Even with the price hike. I don't care so much about price at this point but about performance. We have very little issues using it and it works great on our Fire TV Cube. The features are better than Youtube TV. It shows you what you have watched it remembers where you are in a show no matter what device you are watching on etc. If they do shut it down I will be quite unhappy. I think it could be one of the top services if they just tried a little harder maybe change the name to just Sony Vue and get on social media and start promoting it again. O well I will use it as long as its around.

If it went over 15 dollars a month I would drop it. If I put in order the services I watch the most Netflix is at the bottom so dropping them would not be that big a deal.

I use messenger lite which well it's just an IM app no frills at all which is all I want. I wonder if they are seeing that version being used more than the original bloated one which I refuse to use.

I have had the Pixel 2XL for almost a week and I am in love with the battery life of this phone. Now I am not a heavy user relative to some. I had the Motorola Turbo 2 before this phone and it was getting to the point I just left it on the charger when I was home because the battery was dropping like crazy once the screen came on. The 2XL for me as been great. I had over 3hrs screen on time the first day and had well over 50% battery life left. Yesterday I barely used my phone in the early part of the day and so when I left the house in the late afternoon I had nearly 90% and after pretty heavy use by bedtime it was still only at 52% it's just awesome for me. Now I am not one who has tried a lot of phones as I have only upgraded every two years but I have always gone for phones who claim to have good battery life and this phone delivers at least so far!

Well that stinks big time I just bought 2 Fire Sticks because they had Youtube access. Honestly Google I don't give a crap if Amazon sells your stuff. Amazon and Google act like big babies with each other. You could both win if you just played nice. Amazon just sell their stuff if your stuff is better people will buy it. I prefer you over google yet because you both act like idiots consumers suffer. :/

That is right now. That ends tomorrow and the 50% off starts Thursday though that is not 100% correct it's only with unlimited plan sign up which I am annoyed about.

Another little gem is you can sign into your account finally hallelujah! You can also click on ads and go to that webpage. I clicked on best buy and was able to browse the site. You can't ask Alexa to go to a website but when you are in youtube you can go to ad sites. Kind of sweet I can't understand why they don't have silk built into it. Curious to see if there will be more to this at some point. Adding a browser seems logical at some point.

Well done Plex this is much MUCH better interface on the Xbox! I could not get Alexa to work with it when I tried it last night but hopefully I can get her to work with it at some point. I love seeing all the seasons of shows on the screen and then a nice running line of episodes etc. Looks great!!

Not really I like HGTV on HULU and being able to DVR content. I actually don't like all these smaller apps which don't offer as many features and in the end you may end up paying more.

At least one skill does this already on Alexa. It asked me something and then listened for a few seconds for my reply. I can't remember what skill I was testing when it did it but I was surprised by it.

I noticed this the other day. It's not perfect but it's a start. Now that Alexa has some competition I am kind of excited to see what improvements Alexa will get this year. I am really hoping for multi room music playback since we now have either an Echo or Dot in most rooms and since Google Home did this out of the box here is hoping Alexa is not far behind with this.
