This is going to be a busy spring for both of us! We didn"t have the option of choosing dates though. It's all part of having a large family, these things happen!

It feels great to be back and I feel extremely lucky to be looking forward to a full recovery.

I had my post op x rays taken the other day and they look like something straight out of the Six Million Dollar Man or any other cyborg of science fiction.

I am now officially 'post-human'!

It definitely points to the facts that I am indeed, have the pain threshold of an ox and am one tough Weasel (as Mr. Weasel put it).

Recuperation is going well, slowly but surely I am getting stronger every day and following doctor's orders of not even attempting anything that resembles chores or work. ;)

I'm not one to crusade to save the vegetarians, but I am completely against eating them. After all, they can't taste very good. Not like a good steak at all.

This is also a common phenomena in Weaselville. As Mom types, we woman don't feel like what have the time to be sick. So we usually just suck it up. It's mind over matter, natural protective tendencies and a need to control our environments, because yes, the way we do things around our own homes is better, easier and overall more efficient. We've learned this from years of trial and error. ;)

Thanks for the Christmas card and the well wishes. I am still mostly laid up, but improving all the time. After being forbidden by my doc for the past 6 weeks though from ANY form of regular work/mom duties, I have been forced to depend on others and give up total control of my environment. I must say, I'm getting used it and you fellas are onto something with the man-cold.

If I don't make that sound my doc will be hearing from a lawyer. This surgery was too dang expensive not to have included sound effects.
