i also quit school because of an ongoing mental health crisis! a four year program has taken me eight years to complete, i kept taking years off in between semesters because i just couldn't do it. I enrolled in August 2013 and I'm graduating in December 2021. I'm happy you found encouragement in this, and hehe shameless plug, i have a youtube channel where I will be posting a video I have in progress about this exact topic that I hope will help people. my favorite tip is go slow -- when a concept is hard for me, i spend as much time as I need to on it. it doesnt matter that my friends understood it in a day, if it takes me a week then it just takes me a week.

also change the materials you use to study. of course my school wants me to study with books, but in my science class i didn't understand the books, so i found videos on the Crash Course youtube channel that taught me the same thing, and I understood it (and enjoyed it) much better. try videos, infographics, books, everything, something will stick!

i quit school high school when i was 16 and didnt go back until i was 18. then i took several years off before i went to college. I will be 30 when i get my degree. i used to be ashamed of that, but not anymore. i wish you could see my classmates, every single class i take has at least one person in it that's over 50 years old. please keep going, its never EVER to late! ♡

Don’t let these comments deter you from speaking your truth — I know exactly what you mean. Many biracial people don’t like to claim the “lesser” side of their ethnicity/heritage (for example, if they’re black and white and someone else identifies them as simply black, they react with disdain). It’s not wrong to be considered biracial; in fact I think you should ALWAYS identify as biracial and never one or the other, but I also know that some people boast about their light skin and more Eurocentric features because they know it gives them privilege and makes them favorable to so many people.

While biracial people do experience some types of oppression, they also experience a lot of privilege that comes with being biracial. Thank you for being so honest about this in your comment.

By Korean standards, yes, but if I tried that same exact style in my western features it’s extremely underwhelming which is to be expected... after all that style was developed for their features, not mine, but that comment still has a point

I was in that room for a dance program once and it’s big, but they use wide angle lenses a lot in there so it isn’t quite THAT big but it’s definitely nice, the resting area is really cute and had a nice pink fridge when I was there 😭
