Why is Afriforum involved?

They haven't taken action against the guy who attacked the woman in The Spur restaurant. Rather the reverse.

The haven't taken action in the Ocean Basket case.

Nor the second KFC case in Durban.

Nor the thousands of rape, sexual assault and femicide cases.

The SAPS have it covered at this stage, there is no indication that it's not being taken seriously.

I speculate it's got nothing to do with Justice it's just part of the black are bad and white are good narrative they peddle.

This is a publicity stunt and I'm sure in no time their subscription income will be huge.

My comment is not to do with Mugabe let the law deal with her it's to do with Afriforum.

Johan - I think a problem is the false binary that we are entering in these discussions.

It seems that we have a problem with the "predatory elite" those involved in state capture and white monopoly capital. Both are rent takers that exploit rather than build the economy, both are a threat to prosperity, both need to be dealt with.

Is your point that both of these forces do nothing to reduce the wealth divide, unemployment etc. I agree then that the future will not be found in either of those choices. The discussion over what the third alternative is - what will offer us a future is vital.

I've been on such a journey over the last few years since my diagnosis, everything in my life changed as it does when suddenly your time horizon is truncated and you are forced to stare down death. It felt like I had lost my mojo.

The treatment IS ACTUALLY SAVING MY LIFE the mets in my lymph has already disappeared and those in my bones are massively reduced. Finding that treatment was another social media triumph. It was revealed to me by a nuclear physician who is also an activist and who friended me on Facebook based on my activism. Without FB this would not have been possible.

I'm determined to promote this treatment which although expensive can save lives, does save lives and Im busy setting up a patient advocacy group to help people for whom no further treatment exists.

I now believe that I still have many, many years ahead of me.

Not 6 of one and half a dozen of the other - It's got nothing to do with passing maths - it's got to do with wasting a year repeating a whole bunch of subjects that they are competent in because they were weak in maths and don't intend to take pure maths for matric.

They would still have failed maths

Whether you buy it or not is irrelevant.

The condoned pass up a grade is only available to scholars who have achieved the promotion requirements in all their other subjects and don't intend to include pure maths in senior high school and for matric
