And a wired or wireless HDMI port. At least 720p screen resolution please. Can it support more than 2gigs of ram please? Windows 7, OS X Leopard, or a real version of Linux. A dual core Atom or Athlon Neo with Nvidia or ATI graphics that can push 1080p to an external monitor. 4 USB ports. A wireless docking station option. Now charge $999. Touchscreen? $1199 without breaking a sweat. Think we won't line up to buy one? We're waiting...

Re: Windows Vista SP2 available for Download

Actually Vista is not bad when properly configured. Turn off annoying and redundant features/services and shut down bloatware. Simple. It's nearly as fast as XP and supports newer technologies. The disconnect between the advertisers, computer manufacturers, Microsoft, and other software vendors was plainly and painfully obvious.

That being said, from personal experience and 15 years in the tech industry I can honestly say Windows 7 is the best operating system Microsoft has released to date. Security, however, is an issue only time will tell but neither Microsoft, Apple, nor any other electronic device manufacturer producing popular products that contain microprocessor brains and that are connected to the internet will be immune to this growing future threat. How's that for a mouthful?

Re: FaceBook gets $200 Million Investment at $10 billion Valuation

Ahhh yes...peoples lives data mined for their hopes and dreams the contents of which are carted off part and parcel to the highest or most powerful bidder!
