..in that you can rather easily a) convert it into real money that can be deposited into your bank account and b) several (albeit still limited) online stores already accepting it as payment.

Actually, it's not ASICs mostly that are made by AMD, Bitcoin and other alternative crypto-currencies are "mined" (generated) mostly using PC graphics cards. AMDs models are 2x - 3x as effective doing that as comparative NVDA models are. This was clearly seen in the 7950 and R9 280x models from AMD - the most effective in terms of mining / price ratio - were completely sold out everywhere for weeks in December. Prices on those older generation cards actually rose over 50%, contrary to the common trend of previous-generation equipment declining in price.

Well obviously I have no idea how the Amphitheatre in Charlotte NC handles that. Maybe there are sections or areas that you can select for a ticket?
The Italians did it in a very relaxed way, the entire "rising stairs" area was one zone, you could go there whereever you wanted, as long as there was room left.

I always liked Python, and I never really used Ruby, so I can't say anything of value. However, I am very interested to hear what you will have to say about it once you tried and compared!
