You do realize that whenever you comment on Disqus, your IP address gets captured, right? No? You mean we're not the only blatantly dumb people on Tumblr? You could put together all the fake aliases and throw around emails all you want. Still the same location. It's pretty sad, quite frankly.

But we appreciate you putting aside your vindictive hating to constantly visit the site despite the poor writing, crappy Idol and wrestling stuff, etc. No hard feelings!

Hello there! My name is Ernie and I help run a Tumblr called 'The Funcooker' (http://thefuncooker.tumblr.com). We are fairly new and have been primarily a tv-related entertainment blog. Recently, we expanded our site and have added music and literature content, therefore, have been searching for enthusiasts to help contribute with our new sections. The most important thing for us is to provide variety for the Tumblr world. Angie, I have this special project I'm working on. It's merging DVR FTW into an all-purpose entertainment blog. Along with television/movies/anime - books/comics/manga and music would be the main parts (for now). I'm working on finding experts for all fields, and I was wondering if you would like to be one of the head experts for the music branch? You have an incredible taste for music along with an adequate writing background (which is an ideal combination). Just so you know, the main experts of each branch, will not only be contributors, but it will be THEIR branch. THEIR team. They'll be able to oversee everything. Have the power to recruit members if need be. You can be a contributor if you would like, but I see your love for music, and I think you'd be very capable being one of the experts. Not only that, you're also trustworthy.

Anyway, nothing is set in stone yet. I still need to work out how everything would be presented, as well as working on the mainframe of the site, the responsibilities involved, etc. But if you'd like to be part of the team, that would be great! If not, no pressure, really. No worries! Just extending an invitation.

I'll keep you updated nonetheless!

Hi there! This is probably off topic, but I help run a tumblr called DVR FTW (http://thefuncooker.tumblr.com). We're faily new, and have been looking for people to help contribute. We came across your tumblr and was impressed by the type of insight you provide on your tv related posts! That is why we would like to extend an invitation for you to join our team!

DVR FTW is primarily a tv/entertainment blog. Anything that can be recorded with a DVR is not off limits in regards to posting. Our members post in any fashion (recaps, viral vids, simple thoughts) they see fit, at their own leisurely pace. Some have a specific show they post about, while others post randomly without a particular show in mind.. The majority of the shows you post about aren't really in the rotation of our current members. The key is providing variety, and that is why we feel you would be a great fit.

We came upon your tumblr, read through your tv related posts and like the insight you provide! That is why we are wondering if you would like to team up and join the group?

DVR FTW is primarily a tv/entertainment blog. It's shared by a group of tumblers that are tv enthusiasts, like yourself. Anything related to what can be recorded with a DVR (tv shows, movies, sports, commercials, etc.) is not off limits in regards to posting. You can post in anyway (from recaps to viral vids to simple thoughts), present it in any fashion (be as creative as you want), at your own leisurely pace. Every member is different. A few members have a couple of shows on their posting rotation, while other members post randomly, with no particular show in mind. The key is providing variety, and we feel like you could bring that. We are very impressed by your writing! That in itself, with the type of insight you'd provide on whatever show you decide to write about, would make you a great addition to the the blog! The majority of our members are 'tumblers' and not necessarily writers. We could use writers like yourself that create their own niche. Of course, that is if you decide to join.
