I'm a student and having access to the internet without the insane canadian data prices made the iphone appealing to me.</p><p>If you're looking to use it and pay for data services, I warn you it won't be cheap. The way the iphone works is it loads pages as you would see it on a computer. Something like a blackberry condenses the pages, and less information is being transferred. It'd take twice as much data to load a page on the iphone versus a blackberry. Any of the data plans Rogers offers, minus the blackberry plans, could be used, but again, you're likely to go over that data allowance and go into extra fees.</p><p>Hope that helps. I recommend just using it as a phone and pay the amount you would if you had say a razor, but you can access free wifi occasionally.
