Should have some kind of call to action on the tail I reckon. Wasn't until I saw this banner for the third time that I actually took the time to move my mouse around and find out what the hell it was on about.

Yeah I agree that this banner fell short. It's a real shame because I love everything else about it. A clear call to action at the end (once you have rolled over all the letters) would have completed the experience.

Great idea. Love the exploration feel. Didn't even know it was a credit card until the end. Has a nice feel to it.

I think that a call to action would make the banner better, but I still feel like it's missing something? Maybe needs a little more exciting animation?

No sorry I don't, I work for an advertising company in Australia. Personally I think your being a little harsh saying it's an average banner. I agree with what you've said about the typography but I think this banner is above average. Not the greatest banner ever but above average. But hey each to their own I guess.

This banner is awesome! Great little details like the sand movement when Hancock throws the whale and the water spraying up animation is really nice. I love it! great execution. I wonder what kind of file size this would be? Seems like it wouldn't be too big.

I really like this banner. It's simple, clever and it's good to see typography being used in a creative way. Sometimes I feel it's neglected in other banners.
