Right here we go;
The cupboard stays the same,it looks great.Yes,the tongue and groove should be white to give the bathroom a more spacious look.I dont see the frames so cant really comment,though I am of the schooling that slightly mismatched frames are better than brand new frames all the same.I bought an old freestanding cabinet at auction a few years ago,already painted and chippy,loved it! it stands in my bathroom and not a week goes by when Kevin does not pass comment that it could do with sanding down and a lick of paint! I could sit him down with a whole library of Rachel Ashwell books and he still wouldnt grasp 'shabby chic'.

Merry Christmas dear friend! oooh what are you going to make? what a fab pressie! yes indeed blink and its gone,all that preparation and after all the cooking and food buying my cupboard is looking rather bare! yikes,clearly we eat too much,How soon do you reckon you can take the tree down?funny but before Christmas it seems the most beautiful,twinkly and magical piece of festive adornment,today? a bedraggled,lop sided needle dropping monstrosity!

I read this many,many years ago! its brilliant isnt it? and apparently Ms Susann based the main characters on;Judy Garland,Ethel Merman and Mariyln Monroe,Its very sad though,the film did not really do justice although I adored the soundtrack sung by Dionne Warwick,this book sort of paved the way for Jackie Collins et al. although far superior in my opinion!

Yes I am a very spiritual person but not religious! organised religion is the cause of many wars,I have kept an open mind with my two girls,I believe there is something more than this life on earth,I like the way Sarah Ban Breachnach describes it as 'spirit' as oposed to a person,but there is no harm in letting Fin have a bible,its all part of growing and learning and finding out,at Lucys school they have been learning about different religions such as Hinduism and buddhism,she has made me laugh on a few occasions with her observations! from the mouths of babes....

Oh I so love Judy Garland too! yes another trip to amazon for me! do you realize Alison,that its a strong possibility that my famly may starve as a result of me spending all of my pennies on books! but how can I not buy them? especially this one,it sounds fascinating,although in my defense I am doing well on my thrift drive,so surely I deserve a little treat now and then(every three days on average!)
