Our constitution is not very specific and has permitted many far reaching interpretations some we like and some we don't like. It's not surprising with a majority of right-wing judges that the 2nd amendment would be interpreted in favor of the gun manufacturers.

This is another scam being worked by the flim-flam wheeler-dealers of industry. It is the same policy of privatizing profits and socializing costs. The more the fat-cats of industry can pass on the cost of training to the tax payer, the more profits they can gorge on and hide in overseas tax shelters. Remember the days of long ago when industry invested in on-the-job training programs? Please quit being so darn gullible.

We all applaud success – but, please note that in this case the saying

We must do whatever we can to diminish the profitability factor from the mining of tar sand oil. That planet killer sludge must remain in the ground in Canada. It's not good enough to just irritate the financiers by making them choose another means of transporting it - we must completely destroy any hope they may have for profit.
I fear that gains in slowing down the construction of the pipeline could be orchestrated by those who are more interested in delaying the issue until after the November election cycle and what appears to be our side winning the battle is only a temporary delaying tactic.
