You did a bad job. It has VOICE PROBLEM- the incoming volume on phone calls is really low (even on max volume) and one has to press it hard to ear. BAD JOB. I bought one on flipkart, then got a replacement and still the problem persists. Then I read user opinions on GSMarena and people have this to say. Do your research properly please. How could you miss this simple point! 1100 Rupees and a few hours wasted! CARE TO REPLY IAN DELANEY?

Please conduct more studies on consumer products (like Mother dairy milk, all out and other repellents, contamination in road side dhabas and restaurants etc. ) and thanks a lot.

Updates: I submitted two tickets to wordpress and the bug is fixed now (they also thanked me for catching it; actually you deserve the credit!).

The import option for attachments should also load images from new blog (I just tested it on two wordpress blog and it works now). We only need search and replace to update links.

I cannot import again though because I have made many changes on my self hosted blog. Will learn database changing to do the changes later; presently all my images load on-the-fly from old wordpress and it is fine.

1. Should I add www in url like you or not? I cannot find anything on this on net. If yes, where from? From the option in dashboard region?

2. I'm uncomfortable with the 'search and replace' plugin. In my test run it had made no changes for image files (it did change the links) as suggested though.

3. Do I need to edit my feedburner feed details? I think yes. Isn't it? Will I lose my existing subscribers (I think not).

Hmm, great! People also use PHP my admin [all these jargons discourage me!].

Not rich; I am actually poor and a fool! I only later knew that I could have used something called subdomains! I could have made it at least 3 domains. One domain is for the woman I love [unrequited love but I've not given up; I claimed her domain name!].

Two are .in domains ; so that will be expensive during renewal [initial cost was low due to promo]!

I am learning back up etc. and doing trial and error with self-hosting [bought 4 domain names too]. Will shift once I feel comfortable.

The WP forums are a goldmine indeed! Also the forums of various web hosts have a lot of info! I have done a lot of research on web hosting and themes and got many tricks to get big discounts etc. I'm getting 2 years unlimited in 70 dollars with a good web host [recommended by WP as well]. I am thinking of writing a post on it too narrating my web host hunting experiences.

I don't' have a credit card or else I would have bought the web hosting by now! Bought a domain name in India with debit card [will buy more names]. I am mad about themes and learning new things; that's the primary reason I want to shift to .org [for a mag theme like Arthemia]! Just worried that it will cost me a lot of time [it already has].

I will soon suggest Nita to buy her domain name [it's still not taken but crooks will get it someday] and map it on WP.com only [she has no fascination with .org]

I have a question and the urgency is low/medium.

It is well known that Google gives more weightage to TLDs rather than to blogs hosted on wordpress [eg. vikasgupta.wordpress.com].

Now If I do domain mapping by buying a nice domain name [eg. xyz .com] and getting my WP blog directed on this domain name, will I get all the Google benefits?! I mean my blog will still be hosted by WordPress but the url will have no wordpress in it thanks to domain mapping option. So if I postpone buying my own web host and just buy a domain name and host it with WP only, will I get all the Google benefits of a self hosted blog?
