The majority of people in South Ossetia are not Georgians (About 70%), and have never had a desire to be a part of Georgia. Georgia disagree ... hence the conflict.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;My main concern is that last month there were a number of American soldiers in a training exercise in Georgia. I hope that all of them are gone right now. We should also be relieved with the following ....... Georgia requested NATO membership a few months ago.
