Sorry, but the dimensions in mm that you provide for Excite 7.7 are not correct.

Height : 8.1 inches = 205.74 mm
Width : 5.3 inches = 134.62 mm
Thikness : 0.30 inches = 7.62 mm

La tiene, cuando tienes que editar ecuaciones a porrillo en el infernalmente perfecto sistema de edición LaTeX. :/

En ocasiones veo fórmulas de LaTeX... :)

Thank you for your answer. Actually, I live in Spain, Europe, so I don't really know if that policy applies to Europe also. I'll check it.

The nearly last question: Is it good at showing videos? Can I use for carrying movies and watching at them at the train, metro, etc.? Someone else here said it is not very comfortable to look for movies, because they seem to be mixed up with pictures, photos, and so on, but I don't remember anything about the quality or performance of watching videos/movies.

And, another one (sorry, I just want to be sure): is it easy to root??

Do you mean it is not confortable to write an e-mail or anything like that on the Nook Color?

Maybe if I just use it for updating my agenda, adding new tasks to my to-do list, and so on (apart from reading books and documents), it won't be too painful, and would be cheaper than a 7'' tablet... Do you agree with this thought??

I have some questions for you.

(1) How can we "root" a Nook Color? Are there easy step-by-step instructions?

(2) After rooting (or even without it), can I read with it ANY kind of eBook, in ANY format? I think there is a tool called Calibre that solves the problem, as it is able to convert ebook files from/to any format, isn't it?

(3) Have you used the Nook Color as a tablet, I mean, have you installed Android apps? I am thinking of simple apps for managing tasks, calendars, and so on, no games (apart from chess and things like that). Does it provide a good experience?
