Ahh, Silver Lake, I know it well. I was living in Echo Park just north of Sunset. If you're still in LA, I'd try the fish taco place on Hillhurst a few blocks north of Sunset. I think it's called "The Best Fish Taco in Ensenada." Weird name, but a really good fish taco.

I called Media Temple and they changed the fopen security settings to allow it. Don't know what Dreamhost is like but could be worth a shot.

I don't know. I think there is serious potential for suckage here. Were those...uhh...terrorists? Let's get something straight...terrorists are not the new Nazis and will never be the new Nazis. They're just too fucking disorganized, and they live in caves. To achieve full Nazi status, you have to have crazy discipline, be unspeakably cruel, and throw these super elaborate dinner parties where the whole meal is under sterling silver. Terrorists don't even have uniforms.

Granted, there were some nice images in that trailer, but nice images do not a good story make. As Mamet put it, "Hitler had fantastic cinematography." But to what ends? That's all I'm asking.

Jason Bateman is always using computers in movie trailers. Do you think he's got that in his rider? It must be listed under "Special Skills" on his resume.
