Bart: unless you are making more than $250,000. you shouldn't even be thinking about voting McCain. The tax cut issue he personaly benefited from with his wifes Budwiser distribution company. McCain doesn't understand Social Security needs of seniors because with 112 million in net worth he will never need it, the same is true of Medicare. The medicare plan is to cut 1.3 trillion dollars to pay for the tax cuts for business. I am amazed that the average person can be duped into voting against their own best interest in favor of corporate earnings, the trickle down theory has shown not to work.?McCains lack of, or being oblivious to the social needs of the country are clear in his? terrible health care plan with 46 million droping out with pre existing conditions and taxing health care benefits, that is a tax increas on you. Bart look at the RNC convention as to the wealth of the people speaking Thompson, Guliani, Romney, Bloomberg, these are representative of?the I want to keep what?I have and get more. I do not want to hear about there charitable donations, go to a hospital clinic(anywhere) and just look at the what the poor have to go through to be treated, look at the homeless on our streets, the seniors who go without drugs or food or heat, sick kids who go untreated. The Republicans do not have a social conscience and for the first time in my life I see a person with a concern for the poor, the middle class, the seniors and persons in need, that is Obama.? You need to look beyond the rhetoric of liberal and close minded glib accusations and look at your own community are you proud of what it looks like, you have to get serious and evalute the status of our people and the status of our countries standing and educate yourself.

I hope Phil Griffin checked with General Brokaw before he took credit for Olbermann. Brokaw was hammered by McCain for KO's interview/commentary at the conventions/debates and took him off political comment, Tom must have had this vision of not being invited to the inauguration BALL. Phil obviously doesn't get it ,by replacing Olberman with Dopey Gregory, what are you thinking, you can only say yes master so many times before you GAG. Brokaw is not only the same age as McCain but has the same confused thought process, say goodnight Tom, its almost over!! Phil do you know every major cable show provides email addresses and sends a confirmation of email receipt to the sender, you neither provide addresses and never,ever send a confirmation. You are not leading anything , i personaly think you are a detriment and will not be at MSNBC long.

Hard, Honest, Reporting HARDLY!!!!!!!!! The polls after the debates by every major network and supported by the non partisan focus goups showed Obama winning the debate at 53% to McCains 35% . I wanted to be amused at the bizarre spin and shmooze masters and swithced to Palin softball interviewer escapee Hannity ,where he showed the fox poll at 78% McCain and 11% Obama. I can not imagine where they get this scewed unrealistic data , that only Karl Rove and Hannity would believe. The dumbing down of America is operational at fox.

I thought that CNN was a news station mixed with uninteresting stories from rich republicans like "jeans R us Cooper".They have done things right in the past like CNNfn which they cancelled because they didn't know anything about finance. Continuing with the Bizarre they have chosen FoX (a sneaky little scavenger)( we decide you shut up) as their new role model with examples like ROVE, MORRIS,O'REILLY, CAVUTO, JARRET, Escapee HAnnity,The Beltway BOOBS and others to be ashamed of ,to be named later. CNN there is more than money to be concerned about they are called people!!!! On the bright side NBC may acquire them.

Poor Brokaw learned he was not Tim Russert and was not in control. I am sure he would have liked to take them off the air as he does with MSNBC anchors. Brokaw and McCain are certainly a matched pair neither one has had an original thought and both read from a teleprompter (not well I might add). Tom do not judge journalists who are able to articulate ideas, provide ananysis an engage voters. Your peter principle was exceeded when you got out from behind NEWS desk and you actually had to think. The idea that you could come out of retirement like a punch drunk fighter and become Tim Russert was absurd ,you are a highly visible republican. To complete your misplaced old age influence you decided on who should be at the political desk and had Matthews and Olberman replaced with a dud like you ,David (I'll do anything for the big chair)Gregory. They have ratings now Tom which tells knowledgeable programm managers what and who the people want to watch.... I hear they are highering at the Bush channel and you woul fit right in.
