- I'm a 58 year old African American living my own version of the American Dream. I'm trying something new now. Your presence here was born out of curiosity, but that can't really sustain the interest of an intelligent mind. I love to write; plain and simple. My life is not filled with angst, relationship failure or a personal crisis. I grew up in Chicago, and now live in Smalltown (VA). I’m pleased with my accomplishments.
