on debian 8, I have to remove "ldap://server.unixmen.local:666"in ldap.conf URI, then "ldapsearch -x" would be successful

Sudah tentu VMPlayer kalau dari segi fungsi. Tak perlu nak setup bridging kalau nak kongsi internet dengan host yang pakai wireless broadband. Cuma pilih "NAT" je dah boleh.
