I was SO hungry. My server looked at my arm and said "Oh! You've been in the hospital, I'm going to bring you some extra rolls!" She ran off so quickly I didn't have a chance to respond. She returned with extra rolls for my meal, then at the end of lunch, she brought out a big paper bag of rolls and butter for me to take home.

At Cracker Barrel one morning, I was unemployed and very short on funds, so I ordered a simple breakfast of biscuits, jam, and tea. When I asked for my ticket, my server said "don't worry about it, I got it". I said "oh no don't do that"! She said "I told you I got it, no really, no problem." and shooed me away, ha! She paid for it herself. I thanked her and left her a tip. Her kindness made my day much better.

Re: Where Did The Easter Bunny Come From?

He comes in through the window.

Re: Storm Topples RVs Near Mississippi's Gulf Coast

Thinking of everyone affected by this. People don't realize that certain drugs, including anesthetics, can result in these kind of side effects. Yours was not a mental issue. It's physiological. In your case, it sounds like the quick adrenaline release caused by the novocaine triggered your anxiety. It happens more often than people realize. I'm glad you found an alternative. I can't use novocaine either, I have to have a slow-reacting, non-adrenaline-based anesthetic. Education and communication are vital parts of having a successful experience.
