So here you go:
I pray for them. Specifically that on that particular day (the one on which I'm praying) he/she would have a better day than me. (This is pretty much #2 in the post) It then forces me to think about what might make their day better. (Which is #1 in the post) This is what I do on a good day. On a bad day I thank the Lord that He did not make me like them.

Re: He Doesn’t Like You and I Don’t Like You Either

I would say, "You best watch yourself." The major caution is when we view motherhood as the highest or even the sole significance of Biblical womanhood. As if a single or infertile woman is a spiritual failure. So, yeah, let's give dads their due, and let's not forget all the single ladies (now, put your hands up), the infertile, and those who for whatever (good) reason decide not to have kids. (Feel free to forget those who decide not to have kids for bad reasons).

Re: Don't believe everything you read

I was just reading your post here and I happened to notice that if you take every 666th letter in the post, it spells O-B-A-M-A.

Re: I Like Pipe(r)

"What do you get when you cross scholarly wisdom with a gospel-centered, passionate, pastoral heart?"

An Early Church Father...(and men like John Piper).
