Where's there's an actual geographical divide between fanbases. The Southsiders vs Northsiders.

That's why for the City Connect jerseys we at Nike gave you the Southside and the.... Wrigleyville.

Re: The MSR Guardian Purifier Water Filter is Hands Down the Best on the Market for Biketouring, Bikepacking, and Bike Camping

It's self cleaning. Any time you see the mountains in the background those are the La Sals. Definitely a few spots near Goblin Valley. You can't just plug "anything with a ground that you plug into a wall" into the Yeti. It's 110 and the majority of your plug in appliances require 120. You have to upgrade to the Lithium to get 120.

Re: 12 Pieces Of Gear I Wouldn’t Go Without In The Andes – Ryan Wilson

I've had both the NeoAir and the Sea-to-Summit and highly recommend the Sea-to-Summit. It's not as warm but it's warm enough (and you can always
add to your sleep system.) My problem with the NeoAirs is they're all too thick for their widths. If you're at all broad shouldered your arms will hang completely off the sides and at least in my case I woke up every morning with them asleep. They just hang too far below your chest/back.

The other benefit of the Sea-to-Summit is the valve. I've never had an inflatable pad inflate or fully deflate as fast as it. It takes just seconds.

Re: Kyle From Outer Shell’s Mikkelsen Drop Bar MTB

I think his wife does most of the actual welding but he explains to her exactly what he wants done. A twist lock is a locking
mechanism and does just that. You twist a section of the pole to lock it
into place. A system that is disappearing not only because it can
easily fail while in use but also wears out over time and you can't
repair it yourself. The only one that does this is the Gosammer Gear to
cut down on weight. The rest use flick locks. You took a picture of
them.

Flick locks also make adjustments super easy and quick,
something you should do if you're going up or down steep sections of
trail.

"Despite all the arguments against the need for a highly collapsible
portable pair of poles, maybe there’s a particular scenario you’re
dealing with."

Like traveling? Not everyone lives in California. If you are flying and only
taking a carry-on (or smaller checked bags) the only pair listed here
that will fit in your carry-on is the Black Diamond. (Source: two years
as the camping and action sports sales lead at REI where it was our most
common question regarding trekking pole selection.) Z-poles are the
only style of poles that collapse enough to fit in a small suitcase.
Exception: Some pairs allow you to completely slide the lower section
out which gives you the extra inch or two you need to fit them in your
bag. The problem with this is that you need to be extra careful of the
plastic bits on the end of the removed piece. If they break, your pole
is broken.

Re: AHL News: Rocket logo revealed; Devils on the move

Should have just gone with the crest on the front and the flame on the sleeve under the player's number. The zippers have a tendency to fail. They're super delicate and can't be repaired. The regular Pack-Its feature better construction. And while I do love Eagle Creek's quality for most people the off-brand ones available on Amazon and E-Bags work just as well for cheaper.

Re: Mike’s Velo Orange Piolet is Loaded for Fun!

Patagonia Arbor Pack

Re: Rose Eveleth, Journalist

That Spot headlamp has been replaced with a new one. Had an Alpha LT (that I bought off ebay) delaminate on me after 5 years of use. It was discontinued so they sent me the replacement model, Alpha AR free of charge. When I disliked the fit of the new one they told me to send it back and pick anything of a similar price. The entire time I emailed with one guy assigned to my case and knew the ins and outs of it.

Re: The $3 Million Messenger Bag

Hope it's better quality than their Capture camera clip.
