I don't know if she has hosted a cable news show, but before there was "The Daily Show" on Comedy Central, she was in bed with Al Franken. The two of them covered the political conventions (1992? 1996?) under the covers, in a bed. She was still a Republican in those days, and this was Comedy Central's version of Point/Counterpoint I guess...
