I just checked. i am on the latest version of Saavn (version 2.7). Is there an update after that? Google Play isn't showing anything.

Concept wise, they are the same, but e-gift vouchers are primarily used in gifting purposes and the wallet will be used for personal purposes, since its non-transferable.

Also from what I have seen, I don't think you can withdraw money from the wallet, once it has been deposited. Correct me if I am wrong :) This is just another payment option for the customers either don't want to use their credit/debit cards or want to carry out individual transactions when Flipkart's digital distribution is in place.

Nope. According to me, they should improve the app so that its becomes the best app available on that platform (not that its bad now) and allow the user to choose apps out of their preference since interesting apps will eventually shine out as in the case of Flipboard, Zite or Pulse.

However, if the developer is making use of TOI's brand name with pure intentions of misleading the customers to download his app, then probably TOI can contact the respective officials to take down the app.
