I love hearing why blog names are what they are. I thought I was being so clever - "me being...." - and then years later I discovered a bunch of other sites that were also me being something. Ah well. LOL

I've been using the bullet journal for a few months now and I love it. I am terrible at the monthly thing, so I left that idea out this month. I love the daily lists and specific notes about things quickly moved to separate notebooks, like you did with the soap recipes. I have little to no scraps of paper with random notes scattered around the house as a result.

YES! It's super annoying too, and it's probably the 1/4" seam like others have said. One time I took a quilt class and my measurements were different compared to another person in the class. She asked how big the seam was that I sewed and I said it's a quarter inch. We compared our seams and hers was smaller (scant) and she said oh mine is just a little smaller quarter inch. That was years ago and it is still funny to me.

The hexies all look so pretty! I have been thinking it would be fun to make at least one hexie from each piece of fabric I use for a project. Maybe just enough to make a tote bag or something of that size.

I love all of what you have to say here! We live overseas because of my husband's work and though I am not at all a travel blogger, I see others and I think how the heck are they affording all those trips. And then of course the archives does tell the story of working and saving and not shopping, etc. Plus what travel bloggers blog is the travel! Who wants to write about staying at home doing laundry or buying groceries, something we all do, but that's not part of the traveling part.

One Hundred Years of Solitude is one of my all time favorite books. I am another who missed out on the classics, we own a few and I keep meaning to read them, but I start and for some reason I can't keep going! I figure that's just reason to read the authors I love or look for some to love and move on so I can just keep reading. LOL

I've been paying more attention to things like this because we are living in an apartment for the first time with kids. I need to practice more natural remedies, we've all been sick for the past two weeks and I'm not interested in that happening again. The only thing I would say is there isn't a secret Native American remedy for colds, it's probably something a new age-r came up with to sell a product. LOL

I super love the Strawberry Shortcake pin!! I loved her when I was a little girl. I had a Strawberry Shortcake bed set including a canopy cover, sheets, blanket, pillowcase, and dust ruffle. Oddly, the canopy somehow molded and my Mom had to throw it away. No idea how it molded since we lived in hot, dry, South Dakota. LOL

Oh wow, all of this information is awesome! We have a pellet stove in a house that we lived in (and still own) and I loved it. It heated up the entire house (two stories). We only bought pellets once a year and so the overall charge was low. And the stove has lasted a really long time - I bet it's been in the house for almost 20 years. I know it needs to be replaced soon though, and I think we would definitely consider a Quadra-Fire stove.

I have several reusable bags and LOVE them. My problem has always been remembering them when I leave the house and even leaving them in the car isn't always a reminder. LOL But I love that option you show here! Going directly into the cart is a great thing. I have been better about remembering the bags lately though.

I think I've read this post of yours at least a handful of times and I am finally going to just get the supplements and see what changes it does for me. Last month I said the same thing - sick so I need to stay in bed. It totally messed up my plans and I don't like that.

I need to buy a planet lunchbox lunchbox. I have extra containers for the laptop lunchbox, but we are of course washing everything and it is tiring to have to make sure it's all ready in time! LOL And my daughter ran out of time one day this week and had to buy lunch. She said none of it looked good and she didn't like it. That was Wednesday - yesterday and today she was up on time and ready so early that we managed to leave a little early both days!
