There are two VA zoos where additional incidents occurred - the Reston Zoo and the Virginia Animal Safari in Natural Bridge.

No, both the Reston Zoo and the Virginia Safari Park in Natural Bridge have been repeatedly investigated and fined for animal abuse issues. This wasn't a click and bait issue, but rather WTOP not including the names of the Virginia zoos. In fact, the abuse at the Virginia Safari Park is so horrific that the judge in this case has temporarily shut it down.
