Dumping him when he most needed you to be there and for what? its all about the money. I am sickened by the people that are saying liar liar, so these people have never told a lie, never done anything they needed to be forgiven for? They are perfect? I think not. We all make mistakes and we all need someone to stand beside us when we admit those mistakes. Livestrong could have shown all of us a higher path if they had stood by Lance and set an example for how forgiveness works. Too bad you were more worried about your money and how you would "look"
I think everyone needs to be reminded of how much good Lance has done. So he doped, so did everyone else, where is the witch hunt for all of them? Why aren't the rest of the cyclists banned for life from sports? Just Lance?
Lance got my daughter back on a bike after a two year round with mono, she read his book, cheered for him during the tour and got on her bike, some days when she barely could walk up the stairs.
This world needs to learn to love and forgive, we are a mess........

Re: Pottery Tour Toppenade

must be olive tapenade season, I served some for the reception at the NC Crafts Gallery this past weekend. It looks great. I hope I can get up to see the show, fingers crossed. I sent you an email this morning about an idea I have, let me know what you think....

Re: S a w d u s t & D i r t: Ronday

Honestly I'm not a big fan of the vlogging, if you start, I'll probably visit less. My computer is very slow and the videos don't load that great and all of the zooming around and blur of the camera is too hard to watch, it gives me motion sickness. Guess I'm old fashioned but I actually like to read. I get up really early, have some tea and sit down to read a ton of blogs. It's a nice way to ease into the day!

Re: Close Inspection Reveals Crawling is a Crack

I don't use slip, I use "magic water" 3 TBP. sodium silicate, 5 grams soda ash, 1 gallon water. When I did the Judith Duff workshop she said the same thing. Or I just use a sponge and water. I quit using slip when I taught kid's classes, they made a huge mess and we got lots of cracked seams. I was having trouble with my roof joints coming apart where the coils were applied. I noticed if I rubbed the coils really really good with a wooden tool and made sure the clay was very compressed I had less trouble. Cracks suck, so do pin holes, runny glazes.... blah blah blah!!!

Re: Three Down and 72 to Go

This is so cool. The reason I was curious is that I used to be a
showroom designer for the furniture market in High Point and did some
residential design on the side. I was always working with artists for
accessories, murals, things like that, and now I find myself on the
other side. I have been thinking as these barns develop that I should
contact some designers up in the mts. I would have used them as
accessories for some of the mountain theme showrooms I did in a
minute. It's sort of good that I was the one ordering the work a
while back because I sort of know how designers work and think. I
just gotta get motivated!
Thanks for the email, best of luck with the completion!
tb

Re: Three Down and 72 to Go

I don't know if you would mind doing this, and I would understand but it would be interesting to read a post from you on how this order came about, that hotel is spectacular! Not that I would ever want an order like this, couldn't possibly get my head around an undertaking this big! Good for you though!!!

Re: Morning Sunshine-soaking Bowl

You should have a print of that made for the owner of that soaking bowl order. I had two crack on me and while I was at the Judith Duff workshop last week there were several people complaining about shelves breaking that they had ordered from them. Too bad, I know how it feels to open the kiln to a broken shelf. Craggy crunch, huh. Last time I used that my fingers were bleeding after 10 bowls, but it fires beautifully! Look forward to some pot photos :)

Re: Old Stoneware Guinness Bottles on Display

My brother in law lives in Badin, drinks only Guiness and even has a german shepard named Guiness.
