We're actually working on a couple of things today and will probably look to launch them in the next week or so. This includes filter box (ability to locate records by typing letters into an input box), thumbnail view (see a visual representation of your collection), and taking photos on your webcam for cover art directly in the app.

We're also tinkering with an iPhone and Blackberry app so you can manage everything on the go.

As for stats, we want to have a dashboard tab for stats like you mentioned.

Thanks again for the feedback and ideas. We're just getting started and there are lots of things we can do / want to do with the app.

Re: Analog Apartment - A place for people who love records - Album cover art books

Added it. Personally, I love what adobe is doing on the RIA side with flex and really wanted to design an experience that was different than the traditional website.

Sure, there are limitations but in my book, it's not about what technology you use but how you use technology to deliver a great experience.

Re: Analog Apartment - A place for people who love records - Now live: My Analog Apartment updates

Flex actually but yes, Flash. As collectors, we built the app for people like us so we're always interested in learning from others on how we can make it better. Overall, we just want people to enjoy collecting records as much as possible.

New updates will be live in a few hours!!

Re: Analog Apartment - A place for people who love records - Album cover art books

I saw that at the Taschen store a couple weeks ago and was really tempted to pick it up.

Re: Analog Apartment - A place for people who love records - Updates to my.analogapartment.com

We are happy to import / export data for anyone that asks. We just have not built in the functionality to allow individuals to do this themselves within the app.

Widgets - Widgets are a bit further down the line so we can't commit to anything just yet. Interesting idea though.

Distribution - The app itself may have store-like features but we're looking more at how one can find what they are looking for from existing stores..

Re: Analog Apartment - A place for people who love records - Vintage Milk Crates

That is a fantastic tip.
