I'll keep this short and sweet.
I make pretty decent income right now and my wife makes more than I do. I love it -- In fact, I wish she was making more. I have no hang Ups with this at all. However, I do think that too many women who do bring in more income than their spouse have a cocky kind of attitude which makes no since at all. The two of you should be partners - not competitors.
Some women talk down to their spouse calling him a weak brother, sorry, and etc. which only degrades him and harm the relationship. If we get rid of the "mine and yours" attitude in marriages, things will begin to improve drastically.

Aja is so right,
We need to stop relying on the next new book and get to know "your spouse." People are different but if you follow what is already written in the Word of God, you'll have all you need to have a successful marriage. Also, most of the time men are the one's doing most of the counseling when they need to be counselled themselves. Just because you are a preacher doesn't automatically qualify you to councel married folk. Stay with the Word of God primarily and you will always be safe.

This is exactly the kind of woman a brother don't need. Women like this have a way of raising a brother's blood pressure. Not saying that all brothers have it together either, but this sister don't need to put her poison on no brother; she need to stay by herself and be happy by herself.

First of all, we all know tha God hates divorce! When you buy car or house insurance you're not planning on having a serious car accident, or for your house to burn down. However, you get it for a since of protection or because it is the law. The reason why this brings out so many view points is because a lot of people have already gone through a painful divorce and wish the would have had something like this already in place just in case. Actually I agree with both points of view but like the old saying goes : It's better to have it and not need it, than to need it it not have it! This is just how I see it.
