Thank you for the kind comments. I try to be fair and transparent in articles I write. I did love BlackBerry back in the days of the Bold and Curve and then lost all hope. I am very excited for what they have done and what they are about to release in the U.S. They still have work to do to pry the iPhone away as my primary device but it could happen.

I think they can pull it off. The U.S. is a very important market for them and they have a large amount of resources in place to make it happen. I will be posting about U.S. launch, behind the scenes details soon.

I have to agree with you. The markets they have chosen are random. A main market like Las Vegas where Sprint makes a lot of device announcements lacks LTE as well as major markets all over the U.S. They are behind but with any luck will be caught up mid this year.

There is no good reason to not allow it on the 4. It's all marketing. I am fine with that one feature in Siri not being available on the 4.

Let's not forget, the European networks also collect money when a call is placed to a cell phone. There is huge revenue in that. I don't think people in North America would go for that. So if we are going to compare we should look at the entire market and charges not what it looks like real fast on the surface.

We want to turn of 3G and switch to EDGE. Turning off cellular data turns off data. Not a solution.

It is unfortunate that T-Mobile puts in fine print what the device is actually going to cost you with your down payment and then 20 monthly payments. There are much better deals.

It seems that RIM only chooses projects that will fail anymore. I love how you have to recruit paying friends to listen to more music after you are already paying.

You should give them BlackBerry devices with SMRTGuard then you can track them from anywhere you are. No reason to go out looking for them.

I love the quote that it does not matter if you have 40,000 or 2,000 applications. Easy to say when you are the one with a few thousand. If RIM had 75,000 apps you know they would be saying they had the most. RIM seems to be good with quotes. Let's not forget the Storm is a NetBook.
