It's always gratifying/totally annoying to see someone big pick up something you think you discovered :] The best is when you post something on this thing and it gets ignored but then someone else posts it, and they pick it for the fricken tumblr front page! Oy! Having boingboing post something is way bigger deal. In the end, whoever is creating the awesome content we're talking about wins!

Yeah, I like video explanations much more than static screenshots or graphics. Like JoeLaz, I also really like the ones done by Common Craft just because they do a great job boiling down complex ideas and functions to something manageable for people not embroiled in web 2.0 stuff. I can show the twitter one to my non-computer literate friends and they actually see the usefulness of it now.

I'm a whatever, millenial but all this never-ending Obama worship has me extraordinarily nervous. I don't care for politics as it is, but trust me. You aren't the only ones p-noid about all this circus.

(And as an aside, I'm surprised no one has taken Santogold's track, Shove It as an anti-Obama sentiment. But then again, I don't expect many republicans listen to her, ha!)

I've had this dream about making my own fancy-ass ketchup for a long time but of course I'll probably never get around to it and anyways, what do I know about making something like that? Needless to say, ketchup is a condiment I hold near and dear to my heart, always wondering if there is some other version out there that is better. I cannot wait to try the June Taylor ketchup. I'll definitely be looking for it and if I must order if online, so be it! that's for the tip :]
