i would say that my family quotes this too much, but there is no such thing as quoting singin in the rain "too much." my whole life it's been lots of "an' i caaaaaan't stan' 'im." and of course the "no no no!" "yes yes yes!" back and forth. even the nephews have joined the action. three generations of rain love.

for shame indeed! but wonderful that you have and i've somehow missed them. and what a handy little link for searching. seriously, i may need to get one of these fancy tumblrs just to reblog pinky and pinkie items. i end up saving a lot of them or sending links to other people. you ladies have the eye, as always.

i'm not too fantastic, but moving along as always. lots of health issues with my dad, lots of trips to and from the hospital and various doctors. he's talking bleak and freaking me out. but in better news... uh.... yeah, i got nothin. time for cady to wear the big girl panties and get a real job. huzzah.
i miss your livejournal presences. i miss actual updates. not that i'm really doing that, but i miss hearing more actual stuff going on with you ladies. :\ all the more reason to tumbl, i suppose.

makes me so happy you love this movie like i do. severely saddened that i missed it this weekend too. even saw it on tv and everyone vetoed.

...not that i don't totally have the pretty 50th anniversary dvd of it...

there's just something magical about having it on tv.
