I can wear TO and ZO everywhere but my face. Here's to hoping that you don't develop the type of sunscreen sensitivities that I did on top of the joy you already have. Chemical sunscreens started to give me a mix of tiny water blisters and red itchy bumps all over my arms, neck and chest. After a frustrating period of tracking ingredients for 10 different sunscreens via my trusty spreadsheet, I realized nothing stood out as the culprit. After approx 2k was dumped at the allergist, the answer was. . .I was sensitized to all of the current US available stabilized sunscreens, except for TO and ZO, and then I'm allergic and/or sensitive to most of the ingredients that those are mixed with.

So I can wear sunscreen on my arms/neck/chest that make my (primarily black) wardrobe streaked with white before I even leave the house or spend approx $200/month on the few ZO things that do not bother me or leave streaks. As for face sunscreen, I am about to send my allergist and my dermatologist to the arena for a death match - everything the allergist said to use on my face is bringing back the rosacea papules and pustules that took a year of Accutane to get rid of. That was 1 year of f'ing pregnancy testing each and every month per US regulations, even though the only male sharing my bed has four legs and no balls.

Sorry for the rant. I truly wish you better luck in your sunscreen search than I have had. Oh, and please accept my apologies in advance if my language was inappropriate. (However, if not inappropriate, use a multiplier of 8 on a certain word)

Re: Pink Sith: Radiant Orchid Lips with Buxom Full Bodied Lipstick in Swinger - Review, Pictures, Swatches

Wow! Yes it's addiction, but Christie killed her child through neglect. Wulf contributed to this killing. If the case is as charged, why should I be hoping they escape charges, addiction or not?

If there are true issues about how the evidence was gathered, that is different as far as the legalities are concerned. The killers' addictions, don't factor in.

Re: Thanking the January Advertisers

Hate to be pedantic, but the link in the upper left is referencing the "redemmer," when I'm guessing it's supposed to be the "redeemer." My nephew has always lamented his reading speed, and would rather shoot something on screen, but when he was young, I made sure that Prydain, Narnia, etc. were around. Now he's in college. One year, his part of his present was a t-shirt with the "I can believe," monologue from American Gods, and a hard back of the novel. He read it, despite his being an incredibly busy physics/philosophy double major.

Re: Living in Jack Bauer's World

While Siemens has a presence in the US, they're hardly an American company.

Re: Harness On Our Back - Personal - The Atlantic

Even with all the faults, I love most of Branagh's productions. My junior class was reading Macbeth at the time and I wasn't getting what my teacher was trying to communicate. After McKellan launched into "She should have died hereafter," I was irretrievably hooked, and by the end of that short performance, I understood everything the teacher had been trying to convey.

Re: Jezebel post on LaVena

I wish I could do more. Just now, I emailed Hillary Clinton and Sherrod Brown, the Dem Senator here in Ohio. The email I sent to Brown was slightly modified from below:

Dear Senator Clinton,

I write not as one of your constituents, but as a woman and a citizen. I’m originally from upstate NY, now living in Ohio and a supporter of your recent campaign.

I ask that you, as a member of the Senate Armed Services committee, institute appropriate and timely investigation or questioning into the death of Pfc. LeVena Johnson. Pfc. Johnson was just shy of 20 years old when she was murdered in Iraq. Yes, I use the word murder, as opposed to suicide as stated in the military finding. Why? Army documentation indicated a self-inflicted gun shot wound to the head. However, according to the New Zealand Herald (based on many other sources):

<quote> Private LaVena Johnson's nose was broken, teeth were loose, one eye was concave and there were abrasions over her body. The supposed M-16 hole to the head was far too small for the revolver-sized exit wound, and was on the wrong side of her skull for a right-handed woman to have pulled the trigger. Her genital area showed evidence of acid, perhaps used to destroy DNA evidence. She had white military gloves glued to her burned hands. <endquote>

As a woman, I am sickened at Pfc. Johnson’s rape and the subsequent cover up. As a human, I am mortified by the callous inhumanity of the murder. As an American, I am appalled at how our military treated one of their own and the apparent efforts to conceal the crime committed.

Please take action though the channels available to you in your position. This is a horrific miscarriage of injustice. The Johnson family deserves the truth about their daughter’s death, not excuses and deceptions.

Regards,
Me

Re: Meet the new boss . . .

To thePilot: I must be misreading your post.
