Generally with a game nowdays if there are difficulty settings, I always pick the Hardest mode that is available at the start. I might not be able to get through the game quicker, and I might just give up at certain points, but it feels more like I am dying and then giving something another go rather than just breezing through the game without dying much.

Sorry Chase, I already bought my Black 3DS so I have to live with it :P. I like my anime stickers on my console anyways so no dice, even though Red is tempting..........!!!!!!!!

Doesn't really surprise me of the battery life. It's not like it is powering up the whole console, just a stick and a few extra buttons.

Microsoft said while beta testing Office 2007 that the Ribbon UI interface would take a bit of retraining to get used to. Once people were comfortable with the Ribbon UI studies were done that concluded that the Ribbon UI was more effective at exposing features to end users and that once accustomed to it, improved the end user's efficiency. I believe that using the Ribbon UI in Windows Explorer is the next logical step and it will be as Microsoft has stated, the most riskiest version of Windows ever, because it changes how we all are accustomed to interacting with Windows. However, let us all bear in mind that Windows Vista was never a finished product when it was released to manufacturing. Microsoft had always intended on Windows being the way that Windows 8 is being developed. They just didnt have enough time to get everything right because of Windows XP SP2 which resulted in the Longhorn reset, the trustworthy computing era, the abomination know as Vista was borne. Windows 7 corrected most of the Vista issues, but now its time to move on and go forward with OS development.

This is disappointing in a way.
When they have WOW64 that allowed 32-bit apps to run on 64-bit,
shouldn't they just create a layer like WOWARM that allows 32-bit apps to run on ARM ?

When we were beta testing Vista we told them repeatedly "This is not ready. Do not release this."
Despite many testers sharing this same opinion, Vista was released shortly after our pleas and bug reports were submitted.
And now here we are again. I beg of you Microsoft to at least give us an OPTION to keep the desktop the way we are used to it being. I want to boot up my computer, login and go to my desktop without having to use the Start Screen. I want to to be able to use the functionality of the Start Menu instead of having something that dislodges me from my desktop and work if I simply want to multitask with other programs.
I understand that the Start Screen works and the logic behind it. Yes it will be great for notepad and tablets that feature touch screen. For some of us desktop users it just feels like an eyesore, even though some of us are Power Users. All I'm asking is to make it optional and configurable. Don't make the same mistakes from not listening to the feedback from your user base.
Vista was your idea, not ours.

I still think this whole bandwidth throttling thing is just ridiculous. Consumers pay for a service and pay for access. You should not be charged for bandwidth since you are already paying for access to a service. The service should not limit in any way and instead accommodate for the access.

I'm still disappointed with Internet Explorer. I haven't used it since IE6.
Everytime I accidentally load IE, it takes too long to load and then it hangs there.
Generally after a clean install of Windows 7, I also notice that it will crash before even loading anything for the first time it is launched.
I've been an avid Firefox user since 3.5, but now with its rapid release cycle, it seems that nothing exciting has been developed feature wise and despite reports that Firefox has fixed their memory leaks, I still don't notice it. When I do my daily internet surfing Firefox would take upwards of 600mb and would eventually take memory that it should have released after terminating it. My computers memory would be full after the firefox.exe process was terminated and Windows or other apps would start to act stupid until I rebooted my machine.
I'm just now migrating to a development build of Chrome since everyone I know has already migrated to Chrome. I have to say that Chrome handles flash faster and better than IE or Firefox and Chrome also consumes less memory (275mb for my same daily surfing of 17 tabs) despite having about 20 instances of chrome.exe
